Southampton keen on Juventus’ Matias Soule

Championship side Southampton are keen on landing Juventus youngster and Frosinone Matias Soule.

Soule has impressed a lot in his loan stint at Frosinone, having become one of the best youngsters in Europe and there has been talk of Juve potentially selling him on for a profit.

Nicola Balice today has reported about the situation of the Argentine, who featured for Frosinone in their massive 4-0 win over Napoli in the Coppa Italia. Frosinone sporting director Guido Angelozzi had stated before the game that multiple English clubs are looking at the player and that seems to be true.

Balice reports that Southampton are keen on the winger and they’re the only team in England that seem close to taking decisive steps for him. It is difficult to convince Juve about a sale in January, but only big money from the Premier League could push Juve to sell the player.

The expectation is that the Saints will make an offer of around €30 million soon and Soule himself is looking at England with interest.
