Stefano Pioli to stay at Milan despite doubts from hierarchy

Despite the Milan hierarchy considering Stefano Pioli’s future, the manager is now very likely to stay at the club.

It was reported earlier today that the Milan hierarchy are considering Pioli’s future and they were annoyed about the club’s result against Salernitana and they also hold Pioli’s staff accountable for the raft of injuries that they are suffering from this season.

MilanNews have reported that while Pioli’s job is in the balance, he is not going to be sacked and he will stay for the time being. The next three games will be vital to deciding the Italian’s future and not improving would lead to the club moving on from, with Ignazio Abate already being linked as a short-term replacement.

The surroundings are becoming lonely for Pioli, who was alone at training earlier today. The lack of viable alternatives for now is also one of the reasons why he is still at the club. Plus, the club believe that there is no certainty that sacking Pioli could solve the current issues.
