Tottenham and Chelsea interested in Napoli sporting director Cristiano Guintoli

Napoli sporting director Cristiano Guintoli doesn’t just interest Juventus, as Tottenham and Chelsea are also keeping an eye on the Italian.

Corriere della Sera have reported about Guintoli’s future, stating that he is now all but set to leave the Partenopei and he is now negotiating a consensual termination of his contract with the club as he still has one year left on his deal at Napoli.

Guintoli believes that he has completed a cycle in Naples and Aurelio de Laurentiis could let him leave this summer by negotiating down the severance package of the contract. Contacts with Juventus are said to be underway but English clubs Spurs and Chelsea are also interested in Guintoli, as things stand.

Napoli have already made contact for a potential replacement in Empoli sporting director Pietro Accardi, who already has excellent relations with the new Serie A Champions. Accardi will be handed new staff to work with too, with Guintoli expected to take his staff with him at his next club.
