Tottenham considering sacking Antonio Conte

Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte could be now close to leaving the club, with Ryan Mason expected to take over on an interim basis.

Matt Law from the Telegraph has reported that the Italian could leave the club during the international break and Daniel Levy is considering the manager’s position, after his comments after the 3-3 loss to Southampton. Conte did speak to Levy after his outburst, clarifying that  his anger was directed at the players.

There is a possibility that Conte gets sacked in the international break, with Levy speaking to his close associates about the decision. A key factor in the decision will be whether Conte can still motivate the players for the rest of the season, after what he said in the recent press conference.

Mason has previously been in-charge of Spurs after Jose Mourinho got sacked and he is expected to take over, if Conte does leave. Levy is expected to make a decision soon.
