Tottenham making progress in move for Genoa’s Radu Drăgușin

Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur are making progress in their move to land Genoa defender Radu Drăgușin.

The 21-year-old has arguably been one of the best defenders in Serie A this season, impressing with his defensive traits and recovery pace, apart from showing aerial prowess. He has been linked with a move to Spurs, with Atalanta also linked in recent weeks.

Fabrizio Romano has reported about the situation of the Romanian, stating that the 21-year-old has agreed personal terms with the defender, who has given his approval to a move to the North London giants. Talks with Genoa had started off recently and they are still ongoing.

The Rossoblu currently want a fee of €30 million to sell the ex-Juventus man, with Spurs only looking to spend around €25 million to land the player, but the deal is making progress.

The defender’s agent had stated in an interview recently that his client would only join top Italian clubs and he would be interested in joining the top six clubs in England as well.
