Union Berlin pushing to sign Inter’s Robin Gosens

Bundesliga side Union Berlin are now pushing to secure the signing of Inter wing-back Robin Gosens this summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that while Inter have agreed moves for Davide Frattesi and Yann Bisseck, they first have to sell players. That is why Gosens is on the market and his sale could help Inter with enough funds.

Wolfsburg and Union Berlin are interested in the ex-Atalanta star and a move back to Germany can help the wing-back earn a spot back in the German national team, as he wasn’t available during the World Cup. Inter would ideally want a fee of about €20 million and a fee like that would be a record transfer for Union, who will play in the Champions League next season.

The sale could have a big effect on Inter’s incomings, with Frattesi having agreed to earn €2.5 million per season at Inter and Sassuolo having agreed to sell him on an initial loan deal with the obligation to buy for €35 million.
