The duo of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was on target for Napoli in the first half against Torino but that is not something new.
Osimhen’s header came early on in the game and later in the half, Kvarateskhelia was brought down in the box. The Georgian stepped up to fire home and double Napoli’s lead.
The goal meant that Osimhen now has 20 Serie A goals and he remains the league’s topscorer. In all competitions, the Nigerian has 24 goals because of his tally in the Champions League. Kvaratskhelia meanwhile, has 12 goals in Serie A now and has 11 assists to his name in what has been a spectacular campaign.
The Georgian has contributed to 29 goals in all competitions already, with three months yet to be played in the season and the Partenopei going well in Europe. Osimhen meanwhile, could yet break Gonzalo Higuain’s and Ciro Immobile’s records for the most goals in a single season.
