Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected Napoliโs offer for defender Max Kilman.
The Partenopei are hunting for replacements for Kim Min-Jae, who is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich. David Ornstein has reported that Napoli have had a โฌ35 million offer pegged back by Wolves for Kilman.
The Premier League side want โฌ40 million to sell the Englishman, whose current contract at the club runs out in the summer of 2026 but Wolves have the option of extending it for another season. The 26-year-old is open to staying at the club for another season, meaning that there is no pressure on Wolves to give in to Napoliโs demands.
A host of other defenders have also been linked with a move to Napoli and that includes Lens defender Kevin Danso and Borussia Monchengladbachโs Ko Itakura. Rudi Garciaโs side are pocketing a solid profit from Kimโs sale, with Bayern Munich soon expected to pay the South Koreanโs release clause.
