Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to Milan training

Milan’s veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now returned to training and he could be in the squad for the game against Torino.

Sky Italia have reported that Ibrahimovic trained with the whole squad for the first time since his injury over the summer and a return to action against Torino could be possible. If anything, there is a likelihood that he gets called up by Stefano Pioli for the squad against Il Toro. The Swede is now available for selection, having fully recovered from his knee issue. He had featured in Milan’s last game of the previous season against Sassuolo.

The recoveries of both Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori are also going well but they will not be fit enough to be in the squad for the game against Torino. But they could return for the Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
