Zlatan Ibrahimović wants to play Milan’s last game of the season

Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović wants to be fit for the club’s last home game of the season and it could potentially be his good bye to the Rossoneri fans.

Corriere della Sera have reported that Ibrahimović wants to play against Verona, even if it is for a little while. It is a race against time and there limited chances that he succeeds in this goal, but he is currently doing as much as he can to be successful in this.

He wants to make sure that there is no stone left unturned in this, as the Swede suffered an injury before coming on against Lecce last month. At that point, it felt as if his season was over but he has worked hard to remain in some sort of contention to return before the end of the season. He underwent doubt workouts and extra therapy sessions.

A decision about his future has not been made yet, but chances of a renewal with Milan remain quite slim. Reports have stated that Monza have been in contact to sign the 41-year-old.
