Al Nassr interested in Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto

As reported by TMW, Tiago Pinto is set to leave Roma as sporting director and has suitors in Saudi Arabia and the Premier League.

Pinto will leave Roma on February 3rd and is not short of options. Al-Nassr are interested and he has the Portuguese links with Otavio and manager Luis Castro. The biggest attraction however, is of course Cristiano Ronaldo.

On his departure, Pinto said: “After three years I think my cycle in Rome is over and I am about to go out. I would like to thank all those who have made my stay in this club and in this city special…. I would also like to express my gratitude to the coaches, the players, the fans and all the people who supported me in the restructuring of the sports area.”

Pinto also has interest from Tottenham and Liverpool. His time as sporting director of Roma will be looked back on favourably. Their league position has consistently been 6th/7th and whilst they would have liked to have made the Champions League, the historic Europa Conference League trophy in 2021-2022 will always be remembered in the city of Rome.
