Premier League giants Arsenal are currently said to be ‘hot’ on the trail of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee.
Zirkzee has certainly been one of the most important players in the Serie A this season and his rise has been constantly talked about, with the Dutchman also being linked with a host of clubs in Italy, Germany and England.
Daniele Longo has reported about the situation of the 22-year-old, who remains a target for Milan in the summer. He has been their key target for months now and things are likely to stay that way till the transfer window opens. An auction though, could open for the ex-Bayern Munich man and there is interest from England.
As of now, Arsenal seem to be in the lead for Zirkzee and they are a ‘very hot option’ as his next destination. While Arsenal do seem to be leading the race for the striker, Milan see him as a key target. Their most viable alternative is RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and their strategy to land a new number is now slowly taking shape.
