Arsenal interested in Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee

Premier League side Arsenal are interested in the possibility of signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee in the summer transfer window.

The Dutchman has been one of the most pleasing success stories of the Serie A this season, as he continues to put in stellar performances for Thiago Motta’s Bologna. Multiple clubs have been linked with him already and it seems as if another club has joined the race.

Daniele Longo has reported that while Milan and Napoli are interested in the ex-Bayern Munich man, Arsenal’s interest is rather concrete. They are ‘very interested’ in the Dutchman and other Premier League clubs are also keeping tabs on the Serie A frontman.

When it comes to Napoli, club CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis has already made contact with Bologna and if Victor Osimhen leaves, he would be keen on spending big on Zirkzee. Milan also see Zirkzee as a real priority in the summer and they are willing to sell Lorenzo Colombo to earn cash and spend it on the 22-year-old.

Milan believe that Zirkzee is worth around €50 million and for the Rossoneri, Alexis Saelemaekers’ inclusion could prove vital in the deal.
