Barcelona among clubs interested in Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

La Liga giants Barcelona are keen on Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is yet to agree terms over a new deal with the current Serie A champions.

Talk about the Georgian’s new potential deal has been rife but nothing has been signed yet. Il Mattino today have reported about the situation of the winger, who is harbouring the leadership role at the Partenopei. Contacts between the two parties have taken place, but the issue is that Kvaratskhelia’s entourage wants a significant increase in wage in the new deal, while keeping in mind what Victor Osimhen now earns and that is bearing an influence on their thought process.

Clubs are keeping tabs on the winger, as of now. Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are in the race. Barcelona’s interest seems most concrete right now, with the Catalan giants having made enquiries in the summer but it never went beyond that. Their interest was actually apparent many months ago and it isn’t a new thing but in view of Napoli’s upcoming Champions League game against Barcelona, the news is back on the fore in Spain. The truth, Il Mattino state, is that enquiries were made some months ago.
