There is a gap between Inter and Lautaro Martinez regarding the Argentine’s contract renewal with the Serie A side.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) have reported about the situation of the Argentine striker and they take stock of his potential renewal. As of now, the gap between the renewal on offer from Inter and the player’s demands is 2 million.
Inter have offered a deal worth €8 million per season but the club striker’s demand stands at €10 million per season. Despite that, there is an intention to get the deal done and sign the contract, with the extension to be done till the summer of 2028.
The agent of the striker has revealed that the gap does exist but the relations are rather cordial and there is a willingness to do a deal, despite the distance between the two parties.
Martinez scored twice against Lecce yesterday and his current tally stands at 22 goals in 23 games.
