Inter CEO Beppe Marotta was asked about a comparison between Serie A leadersโ boss Simone Inzaghi and former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Inter picked up a deserved 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League as they put in a dominant performance. They shouldโve scored more but Marko Arnautovicโs second half goal was enough to win the tie.
Before the game, Marotta was asked by Mediaset (via FCInter1908) about Inzaghi and potential comparisons with Sir Alex. Marotta brought about a difference between the two, but hailed Inzaghiโs approach and vision for the game and the impact heโs had at Inter.
