Juventus interested in Bologna boss Thiago Motta

Juventus are interested in the possibility of hiring Bologna boss Thiago Motta, with the Serie A giants likely to consider Max Allegri’s future at the club at the end of the season.

Fabiana della Valle has reported about Allegri’s situation at Juve, stating that the Bianconeri continue to publicly back the Italian but his future at the end of the season will be considered. As of now, anything can happen by the end of the season and an exit is possible in the summer, even if Allegri’s contract runs out in the summer of 2025.

A lot of things depend on how the season ends. The possibility of an exit will increase if Juve fail to win a trophy by the end of the campaign and the Bianconeri are already looking at names.

One name which could be at the top of the shortlist is Bologna boss Thiago Motta. There is a chance that Motta could stay at Bologna, if they reach the Champions League but Juve are a big admirer. Other options on the shortlist are Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano and Monza boss Rafaelle Palladino.
