Juventus keeping tabs on Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos

Serie A giants Juventus are currently keeping tabs on the situation of Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.

The Bianconeri were keen on signing a midfielder in January and they ended up landing Carlos Alcaraz on an initial loan deal from Southampton. With the option to buy the Argentine quite high, it remains to be seen whether Juve would make the move permanent or not.

But it seems as if they are looking to sign another midfielder in the summer. La Stampa (via TMW) have reported that one name that appeals to the Bianconeri is that of Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos, whose contract at Los Blancos runs out in the summer and he hasn’t renewed his deal yet. Juve are monitoring the German, with the idea of signing him on a free transfer.

Jorginho at Arsenal is also catching the club’s attention, as his contract will also expire in the summer. But it seems likely that Arsenal would exercise the option to exercise the one-year renewal. It does seem likely that Juve would sign another midfielder in the summer.
