Juventus midfielder Carlos Alcaraz following 3-2 Frosinone win: “It’s still early to talk about my future, big games await us”

Following the Bianconeri’s late 3-2 victory over Frosinone at the Allianz Stadium, Juventus loanee from English side Southampton Carlos Alcaraz provided his perspective on the match and the significance of the win over the Gialloblu.

“The sensations are very good, we needed this victory to give joy to our fans, today the stadium was full, having their support was wonderful and we try to give it back to them, Alcaraz commenced.” “The victory is very important, for us and for them. “

Despite Serbian international Dusan Vlahovic’s early opener in courtesy of a well-weighted pass from Weston Mckennie, Frosinone responded with two quick-fire goals from Walid Cheddira and Marco Brescianini to pilfer the lead from coach Massimiliano Allegri’s side in the 27th minute of play.

However, the former Fiorentina forward bagged a brace as he wrapped his foot around the ball and curled it past Michele Cerofolini into the bottom left-corner to seize the equalizer heading into the second half, after he was picked out yet again by the American international with an exquisite line-splitting pass.

Just as it seemed like Juventus were forced to a stalemate, central defender Daniele Rugani snatched the last-gasp winner as he scored from point-blank range as Vlahovic flicked the ball in his direction with a headed pass off a late corner, putting an end to Juventus’ three-game win-less streak in the Serie A.

While speaking with Sky Sport in a post-match interview, via TMW, Alcaraz touched upon how he felt after having attained three vital points in the dying minutes of the match, as well as his thoughts on his performance this afternoon as he was subbed on at 30th minute mark to replace an injured Adrien Rabiot.

How do you feel?

“Fortunately we managed to score a goal, I feel very good and I try to give my contribution when I am called upon. I feel the trust of the staff and my teammates and I have the right peace of mind to play.”

 What is your favorite role?

“I can play in any position, I try to give my little help. The important thing is to play, accumulate minutes, it’s something beautiful.”

Future with Juventus?

“It’s still early to talk about it, big games await us starting from the one against Napoli. I don’t want to think too much about the future, I’m trying to do my best. My head is here, we need to think about resting and starting to prepare for the next game with Napoli.”
