Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent: “He will leave if Napoli receive an offer that they can’t refuse”

The agent of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has revealed that the Georgian will leave the club if the Partenopei will receive an offer that they can’t refuse.

Kvaratskhelia, despite being criticised by many, is having a pretty good season numbers-wise. He has scored nine goals and has five assists in the Serie A and has one assist in the Champions League. He seems to have donned a leadership figure at the club, growing in stature after the Scudetto win.

There has been talk about his potential renewal at the club and while that is yet to happen, his agent Mamuma Jugeli spoke to the Georgian version of La Gazzetta dello Sport and he spoke about the winger’s future at Napoli. Jugeli stated that while Kvaratskhelia’s contract talks are on, he would leave if a big offer arrives.

“As regards the future, we are talking with the club, we will see what will happen. He will leave if Napoli receive an offer that they can’t refuse”

When asked about what offer is seen as something which is too much to reject, Jugeli had nothing specific in mind and stated that Napoli CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis has plans in mind.

“I can’t talk about a specific amount, these are De Laurentiis’s assessments. I protect Khvicha’s contract and work. Everything will be clear at the end of May.”

Napoli already seem likely to lose Victor Osimhen in the summer and Piotr Zielinski will join Inter, so losing another star player would come as a big blow for them.
