Lautaro Martinez’s agent: “He has only Inter in his mind”

The agent of Serie A league leaders Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has revealed that the Argentine has only Inter on his mind, amidst talk around his new deal.

Martinez is the highest scorer in Serie A and he could yet match Gonzalo Higuain’s and Ciro Immobile’s record for most Serie A goals in a single season. There is talk of him signing a new deal, which is yet to be signed but there is still optimism regarding the renewal.

Inter take on Atletico Madrid later today and before he joined Inter, he was close to joining Atletico. His agent Alejandro Camano spoke to AS (via TMW) and he stated that Martinez only has Inter in his mind right now.

He said, on asked about interest from Spanish clubs: “Today, I can say that he has only Inter is in his mind. He has another two years on his contract, he’s involved, he’s the captain. He doesn’t think about what happened or what it could happen. He has never spoken to me about these things and for me it is a pride to represent a person with these values.”

Martinez has scored 20 times in the Serie A and has four assists as well. He also has two goals in the Champions League and he would be hoping to add to that tally.
