The 32-year-oldโs contract with the Merseyside giants expires at the end of the season and he is intrigued by the opportunity to play in the Serie A. He is a dual passport holder of Cameroon and Germany, therefore if he arrives in Italy, he will not take an additional non-EU spot.ย
