Reigning Serie A champions Napoli are interested in Leicester City’s Boubakary Soumare and the midfielder would be interested in a move to the Partenopei.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via CalcioNapoli24) have reported about Napoli’s hunt for a new midfielder this month, stating that Soumare’s situation does interest them. Soumare is currently on loan at Sevilla, where he has been a regular in the heart of the park.
The idea of joining Napoli does fascinate him but it will be a complicated process for the Partenopei to land him. Napoli would first have to convince Sevilla of terminating his loan deal and would then have to speak to Leicester regarding a potential agreement. The Foxes would like an option to buy in a loan deal at a value of around €15 million.
Despite the fact that Soumare has made 11 starts in La Liga, the feeling is that he hasn’t integrated well in Andalusia and that is why him leaving after just six months remains an option.
