Max Allegri’s agent: “Will he stay at Juventus, why not?”

The agent of Juventus manager Max Allegri has stated that there is a strong possibility of the Italian staying at the club at the end of the season.

Allegri’s future has come into question in recent weeks amidst Juve’s poor run of form which has led to them falling away from the title race. The Bianconeri have lost points against sides threatened by relegation and if not for Milan’s inconsistent recent showings, they could have been third in the table.

Allegri did mention earlier today that the club’s higher-ups will make a decision about his future later in the season when the campaign is ending. But his agent Giovanni Branchini spoke to Radio Deejay about his client’s future at the Bianconeri (via TMW) and he stated that it seems likely that he would stay.

“Will Allegri stay at Juventus? I think so. Yes, yes, why not. Is there anyone who can send him away? This is always possible, we’ll see what Juve’s ideas will be. He has a contract and has demonstrated his bond with the club. They will decide and evaluate. Usually you change a coach when you are not satisfied. I want to see how they could not be satisfied, but with this ownership anything can happen.”

Allegri has previously stated that he feels an emotional bonding with the club and that connection with the Bianconeri has been there for sometime now, but he also stated that he doesn’t want to be held back by it.

Juve take on Napoli on Sunday in what will be a vital game for both sides.
