Serie A giants Milan have been working on a move for Tottenhamโs Emerson Royal for some time now and there have been in-roads some weeks now. But it now seems as if the final step for the move is now approaching.
Daniele Longo has reported that the โwhite smokeโ in the deal is very close and it might only be hours away. The final details between Milan and the playerโs agent have been sorted out and a meeting took place two days ago at Casa Milan, with commissions also agreed.
Intermediaries are now trying to convince Tottenham about the move, with Milan having offered โฌ14m and โฌ3m in bonuses. Tottenham want a fixed base of โฌ15m and bonuses of about โฌ4m. Parties are yet to reach an agreement over the structure of the fee.
But it is definitive that the move will go through. It isnโt in doubt. Only the final terms are yet to be ascertained.
