Milan could launch improved bid for Torinoโ€™s Alessandro Buongiorno

Milan are set to send their second bid for Torinoโ€™s Alessandro Buongiorno after missing out on Radu Dragusin.

According to a report by Sky Italia, Milan are expected to launch a much-improved bid from the initial one to Torino to secure the services of Alessandro Buongiorno this week.ย

The arrivals of Matteo Gabbia and Filippo Terracciano havenโ€™t closed the Rossoneriโ€™s defensive operation as they are set to add another asset to the same department. The injuries to Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori further aggravated the cause.ย

The Granata president Urbano Cairo was quick to reject the first offer for the 24-year-old a few days back as he values the player at around โ‚ฌ40 million. Milan can lower the asking price through negotiations and they are already readying another bid to be sent soon with an increased transfer fee including the permanent transfer of forward Lorenzo Colombo.ย

Previously, Buongiorno himself rejected advances from Atalanta and now the operation reflects its complication to Stefano Pioliโ€™s side.
