Napoli and Fiorentina interested in Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri

Serie A side Lazio are expected to lose manager Maurizio Sarri in the summer and the Italian seems to have no shortage of suitors.

Il Messaggero have reported about the situation of Sarri (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), stating that his future is only in his hands after club CEO Claudio Lotito stated that his job is not in immediate danger. So if Sarri leaves, it would be because of his own choice and the club will not kick him out.

Lotito doesn’t intend to pay a termination fee and the club knows that there is a Coppa Italia semi-final to be played and there is silverware to be won. But as of now, two clubs are already keeping tabs on Sarri and the offers can actually be made soon, depending on how the situation at those clubs pans out to be.

The clubs involved are Fiorentina and Napoli. While Sarri would not mind returning home to Florence, he won’t be as keen on managing Napoli again. He is still very much interested in the project at Lazio and he wants more trust from the higher-ups and more efforts to be made for his project in the transfer window.
