Napoli interested in Fiorentina’s Lucas Martinez Quarta

Napoli’s search for a new defender goes on and the latest name on their shortlist is Fiorentina defender Lucas Martinez Quarta.

Napoli have missed out on the chance to sign Radu Dragusin, who is joining Tottenham Hotspur. They face an issue with injuries and have been linked with multiple names in the last few days.

Sky Italia state that a new name that interests the Partenopei is Fiorentina’s Martinez Quarta. The Argentine’s name is on the club’s shortlist and in the last few hours, an enquiry was made about the 27-year-old.

Apart from Martinez Quarta, Napoli are also keeping tabs on Udinese’s Nehuen Perez, for whom negotiations aren’t expected to be easy because Udinese value him at around €12 million, with Fiorentina, Milan and Atletico Madrid also keeping tabs on the Argentine.

Arthur Theate is also of interest, with the Belgian having done well in his time at Bologna before he joined Rennes.
