Napoli line up shortlist for Victor Osimhen replacements

Serie A giants Napoli have already lined up a shortlist of potential replacements for striker Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian seems very likely to depart Napoli in the summer and he recently hinted at that in an interview as well. La Gazzetta dello Sport have provided a detailed look at the player and his situation, while also looking ahead of his potential replacement at the Partenopei.

The outlet confirms that Paris Saint-Germain are very keen on the Nigerian, but Chelsea and Arsenal could also be options. The Blues seem a more likely destination in England, more so than Arsenal. But Napoli already have names on their shortlist.

Joshua Zirkzee’s name has climbed up the club’s shortlist but the competition is stiff for the Dutchman. Napoli are currently unwilling to take part in an auction. Jonathan David is also someone who has been pursued for a long time and initial contact has been made. 

Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface is also appreciated but for him too, competition will be fierce as Juventus already made contact. Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez is also of interest but for him too, there is expected to be a good amount of competition. The Partenopei like him a lot.
