Piotr Zielinski wants to contribute to Napoli despite upcoming Inter move

Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski wants to contribute to the club’s affairs this season despite the upcoming move to Serie A rivals Inter.

The Pole will soon sign his contract at Inter, who have already informed Napoli CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis about their talks with the midfielder, who has not signed a new deal with the Partenopei. There has been talk that the ex-Empoli man could be excluded from the club’s project.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via CN24) have reported that Zielinski wants to contribute regularly to Napoli’s on-pitch affairs for the rest of the season despite the fact that he is about to join rivals Inter. There is a rift with the club because there is no extension on the table, but that doesn’t impact Zielinski’s mind.

The Pole is keen on making sure that whatever is happening off the pitch will not impact how things are on the pitch. Walter Mazzarri is about to change his formation to a 3-5-1-1 shape in the game against Milan and Zielinski is now expected to play a role till the end of the season.
