Roma make contact for sporting director Paul Mitchell

Roma aren’t just on the hunt for a new manager after Jose Mourinho’s sacking and in their hunt for a new sporting director, they have made contact for Paul Mitchell.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that with Tiago Pinto set to depart at the end of this month, the Giallorossi are already working to hire a new sporting director and are making contacts with some profiles.

A meeting has already been held with Paul Mitchell, who has been linked with Manchester United in recent months. The former Tottenham Hotspur sporting director isn’t the only one who interests the Friedkins, who have also spoken to Christopher Vivell.

Both Mitchell and Vivell are said to be strong candidates to become the club’s next sporting director, with both profiles having strong connections with the Red Bull clubs and have worked with them closely in the past. It is still too early for the Giallorossi to make a decision.
