Serie A giants Roma are now nearing a move for Juventus starlet Matias Soule and the move is edging close.
Soule was also subject of interest from Premier League side Leicester City but it seems as if their attempts have proved futile, as Roma are close to sealing a move.
Matteo Moretto has reported that an agreement between the Giallorossi and Juve is edging closer and Daniele Longo has reported that direct contact between Daniele de Rossi and Soule has made a key difference. There is already an agreement over personal terms between Soule and Roma.
He will earn โฌ2 million per season plus bonuses in Rome and he will unite with two Argentina teammates โ Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes.
Romaโs initial bid of โฌ20 million plus bonuses of โฌ5 million was rejected by Juve, who wanted a package of around โฌ35 million. Leicester did come close to meeting that price tag but it seems as if Souleโs preference for the Giallorossi is making a key difference.
