Roma’s Paulo Dybala casts doubts about his future after hat-trick against Torino

Roma star Paulo Dybala scored a hat-trick against Torino in the Serie A but he has expressed doubts about his future at the club.

Dybala scored a brilliant long-range strike, one penalty and a sweet side footed finish from a tight angle to complete his first hat-trick for Roma in a 3-2 win. Torino did pull a late goal back to make it 3-2 but it only proved to be a consolation, as Dybala completed the whole 90 minutes.

Dybala was asked about the hat-trick after the game and while he expressed delight, he also revealed doubts about his Giallorossi future.

He told DAZN (via TMW): “I’ve wanted to score a hat-trick for a while. I already wanted it against Cagliari, but it arrived and it was used to win. It was a difficult moment in the match: Torino was creating danger for us and the match could have evolved into a all ways. I kicked and went to celebrate with the fans, to whom I owe a huge thank you.”

He went onto state that despite the uncertain future, he is enjoying the present at Roma under Daniele de Rossi.

The Argentine said: “I always want to win some trophies. Obviously the journey in the Europa League is still long, but we know what our objectives are and we work every day to achieve them. When I arrived here I said that it seemed like a lifetime that I had been here. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I’m definitely enjoying the present.”

Dybala has now contributed to 17 goals in Serie A while playing 18 games and his hat-trick was his first since August 2017, when he scored one for Juventus.
