Salernitana interested in move for Mario Balotelli

Former Brescia, Liverpool and Milan striker Mario Balotelli is a target for Serie A side Salernitana.

TuttoSalernitana have reported about the club’s plans for the remainder of the transfer window, stating that a move for Balotelli is a real possibility this month. Sources at the club have confirmed that Balotelli’s entourage has offered the player to Salernitana, who are interested. The player does not want huge financials to agree to the move and that is encouraging to Salernitana.

Having said that, things could depend on the future of Boulaye Dia and whether he departs the side. But Balotelli does interest the club and it remains to be seen if the move progresses.

Jerome Boateng was also linked with the club but it seems as if a move is fading away. Salernitana are not happy with the fact that the German asked for different terms after a verbal agreement was reached over different terms. The move isn’t completely dead but it remains unlikely, as of now.
