Tottenham have now launched a new approach for Genoa defender Radu Drăgușin.
Napoli did have a draft agreement with Genoa for Drăgușin but they are yet to make an official offer which matches that agreement, despite that knowing that offering Alessandro Zanoli permanently, Leo Ostigard on loan and cash would help them seal the deal. They have offered a contract to the player, whose agent was waiting for an approach from Spurs.
Corriere dello Sport (via CN24) now state that Spurs’ offer for Genoa has arrived and it is better than the previous one. They are now offering €26.6 million to the Rossoblu and the offered is considered to be a danger to what Napoli have put forward thus far.
There is a possibility that Napoli’s move could fall through, as they believe that might not be able to match Tottenham’s financial might anymore, even if they include players. Genoa are reflecting on the offer, as Napoli’s offer would hand them a direct replacement for Drăgușin. Having said that, Napoli have now started looking at other potential targets already.
