Sunderland and Sassuolo, both newly promoted in Premier League and Serie A respectively are in talks for a deal for Arnaud Lauriente. The French winger has been very impressive for them in both Serie A and Serie B and played a huge part in them coming back up to the top division.
Laurienteโs greatest strengths are his dribbling and his ball-striking. Last year in Serie B, he had 23 goal contributions, finishing as the top scorer in the division. The season before in Serie A, he had 9 goal contributions but his dribbling numbers were really high. His numbers could explode over the next few years.
For Sunderland, this could be a top signing. This is the type of signing that will help keep them in the league, a difficult task for any newly promoted side presently. As per the report from Matteo Moretto, talks have just begun but it wonโt be surprising if an agreement is reached quickly.
