Juventus could completely overhaul their goalkeeping lineup for next season. Third-choice goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio is considering retirement, while the permanence of the two โstartingโ goalkeepers, Mattia Perin and Michele Di Gregorio, is also uncertain.
Perin reportedly no longer intends to continue as a second-string keeper and could look to leave Juventus next summer to find a team that can give him the starting role. On the other hand, Di Gregorio sees his future at Juventus dependent on the clubโs transfer market moves.
If Juve were to secure Maignan on a free transfer from Milan, the Bianconeriโs current first-choice goalkeeper would be sold to raise funds for his wage, and in order not to overshadow the French national team stopper.
Two-time Italy international Mattia Perin has been at Juventus since 2018. However, a good chunk of his spell in Turin has been split between bench duty and a two-year loan back at his previous club Genoa. Di Gregorio has been at Juveโs disposal since 2024, where he signed after an initial loan from Monza.
