Serie A side Milan have decided to part ways with several players โ including Fikayo Tomori, Youssouf Fofana and Christopher Nkunku. The same canโt be said for both Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Yunus Musah.
Tuttomercatoweb report that Ruben Amorim likes the profiles of the two versatile midfielders. This comes as a surprising decision, especially as the two initially seemed on their way out when the Portuguese arrived at the club.
It is the USA internationalโs versatile nature that has swung the tide in the positive side. He can play across the pitch and if Milan donโt sign a specific player, he can fill in as an emergency option almost everywhere, having also played at wing-back.
As for Loftus-Cheek, Amorim has liked what he has seen from the Englishman, as he has also used him regularly during pre-season. He is also versatile and can play a host of positions centrally, which can come in handy when the upcoming season wears on.
