AC Milan have officially appointed club legend Paolo Maldini as the new Director of Sporting Strategy & Development.
The 50-year-old spent his entire 25 year playing career with the Rossoneri, winning a total of 25 trophies.
Maldini was reportedly offered a role at the club under both the Berlusconi and Yonghong Li ownerships but nothing ever came to fruition.
Milan’s most decorated player ever now has an official role at the club and will hold a press conference on Monday, July 6.
