Roma have officially sold goalkeeper Alisson to Liverpool for €62.5 million plus €10 million in bonuses.
Alisson has signed a “long-term contract” with The Reds.
The deal for the 25-year-old Brazilian is the most expensive transfer for a goalkeeper in history, surpassing Buffon’s fee when he joined Juventus in 2001.
Alisson spent two seasons at Roma making a total of 64 appearances in all competitions.
