Boban and Maldini appointed new positions at Milan

Two former club legends have been handed important roles at AC Milan.

Zvonimir Boban has become the Chief Football Officer, a newly created position.

Milan’s official statement read, “Boban will be responsible for the co-ordination and oversight of the Club’s Sporting Area activities and will work closely with the Club’s CEO Ivan Gazidis and the newly appointed Technical Director Paolo Maldini.”

Meanwhile, Paolo Maldini has taken up a new role at his beloved club.

Now the new technical director Maldini will be in charge of the current priorities representing the transfer market, the club’s plannings ahead of the summer camps and pre-season fixtures, and more.

Milan look to old legends to help them return to the top of European football.
