While Daniele De Rossi has left AS Roma after 19 years, he will stay in Italy.
De Rossi is reportedly close to joining Fiorentina, according to both Alfredo Pedulla and Nicolò Schira.
Pedulla claims that La Viola are currently leading the race and a deal is likely but nothing is definite yet.
Meanwhile, Schira says that De Rossi has already agreed to a one-year contract with the club from Florence.
Corriere dello Sport also report that Fiorentina lead the race for the 35-year-old.
De Rossi’s future could be in purple.
