SSC Napoli and AS Roma are just about set to pull off an impactful swap deal.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli will pay the €34 million release clause for Kostas Manolas, while €2 million of that fee will go to the Greek defender. Manolas is expected to earn a salary of €4.5 million with the Partenopei.
Meanwhile, Roma will pay €18 million plus €2 million in bonuses for Amadou Diawara. The 21-year-old midfielder was requested by new head coach Paulo Fonseca.
The Diawara-Manolas swap deal is all set to be completed.
