Ibrahimovic |”Italy is my second home”

LA Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted at a return to Italy, after having spent time at Juventus as well as both Milan sides in the past.

“Italy is my second home,” Ibra admitted in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I will listen to all offers, but I want to fight for the maximum target. If I were to come back, I’d want to challenge for the Scudetto, not just be signed by someone because I am Ibrahimovic.

“I can still make the difference. I’m not a zoo animal to be put on display for people to see. I can still get 20 goals in Serie A.”

The Swedish forward then revealed there is one exception he would make in terms of a side who would not be competing for the league title.

“[Sinisa] Mihajlovic is a friend, so if I were to choose Bologna, it’d be just for him. We have spoken recently. He told me: ‘Zlatan, here the others would run for you. All you need to do is stay up there and put the ball in the net.’

“I thank him, but it’s probably unlikely to happen. If I change my mind, then I’ll call him straight away, especially because I could still get 20 goals in Serie A.”
