Milinkovic-Savic praises team-mate after beating Juventus

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was left speechless on Saturday night, the Lazio midfielder unable to find the words to describe his goal as he helped his side to a stunning 3-1 victory over Juventus.

“I don’t know what to say, it’s such a huge sensation to score and win!” he told DAZN immediately after the final whistle. “I can’t even remember what I did, I’ll have to watch it again!”

Luis Alberto was the provider, a player has delivered 10 Serie A assists this season already, become the fastest player to deliver his 10th league assist in a single campaign since Serie A went back to 20 teams in 2004/05.

“I saw Luis Alberto prepare the pass, so I made the movement,” continued Milinkovic-Savic. “As I know his passes are always on target. My game has changed a little this season, as I have to run harder, but I am happy to help the team.”
