Gasperini ahead of Atalanta’s clash with PSG: “Whatever happens, for us it won’t be a loss. Either we’ll win or we’ll learn.”

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia ahead of Atalanta’s Champions League quarter-final match against Paris Saint-Germain, Gian Piero Gasperini was realistic about the quality of tomorrow’s opponents, saying nonetheless that his side had every chance of going through.

“They are a great side, in France they’ve been dominating in the league and the cup for years, and they have great players. But we got to this point by overcoming some difficult obstacles. It’ll be a difficult game, but we have faith that we can do well.”

“We hold so many emotions and experience from the past few months with us. These will also make the difference on the pitch.”

“Whatever happens, for us it won’t be a loss. Either we’ll win or we’ll learn. We are using this competition as a way of gaining experience and growing on an international stage, even if we are always looking to win.”

“We want to represent the country in the best way possible, to be able to react and try to give a smile to the people of Bergamo.”
