Fiorentina have confirmed the arrival of 22-year-old Ivorian attacker Christian Kouamé from Genoa for an initial €11m, plus bonuses.
He is currently recovering from a long-term knee injury and will not be in contention for first team action for La Viola in the near future.
Genoa have a 10% sell-on percentage fee clause in the agreement and bonus clauses that could take the overall fee northwards of €15m.
