Udinese and former Barcelona man Gerard Deulofeu has hailed Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s presence and he believes that the Swede is someone many players can learn from.
While Deulofeu had a loan stint at Milan before Ibrahimovic’s current stint at the Rossoneri, the Spaniard was in the youth teams at Barcelona when the Swede was with the Catalan giants’ first-team.
Deulofeu spoke to The Italian Football Podcast and he was asked about Ibrahimovic. The Spaniard stated: “Zlatan is the big example for players on how living a healthy life can make you achieve your objectives because to still be playing at this age I can only have respect for that.
“He was at Barcelona when I was there as a Barca youngster, as a 14 or 15 year old. He was and is an amazing player and we will try to beat him this Saturday.”
Milan take on Udinese on Sunday evening in a bid to stay at the top of the Serie A table – above Napoli and Inter.
