Ex-Tottenham target on January move: “Two or three clubs will look for him.”

Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, who was linked with a move to Tottenham and Inter, will be a target for two or three clubs in the winter and his agent has confirmed the same.

Nandez’s agent was talking to CalcioNapoli24 and he spoke about the Uruguayan’s future and his potential exit from Cagliari in the summer.

He stated: “Giulini promised me and the player that he’d do everything possible to get him to leave in the January transfer market. Nandez wants to win something, he wants to play the Champions League. The president gave us his word, Nandez was the most expensive player in the history of Cagliari but we know the crisis that took place.”

The midfielder’s agent stated that Napoli are interested in the player and he would be happy to join the Partenopei in the January transfer window.

“There are two or three clubs that will look for Nandez in January, including Napoli. I would be happy to see him in blue, definitely. The latest talks with Napoli and Giuntoli? He is someone who has always been looking for him. Giulini, however, has now understood the situation, we hope that in January there may be some movement and we hope that it is in the direction of Naples.

“Will he leave on loan or outright? I think he will sell it at a lower price than the requested one, there is a €36 million clause but the president spoke to Nandez yesterday and told him he will lower the price and let him go “
