Premier League giants Liverpool are interested in Franck Kessie, with the Milan midfielder yet to agree a new contract with the Rossoneri.
Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport goes into depth to talk about Kessie’s situation, claiming that the midfielder is asking for a bonus on his new deal. He currently earns €2.2 million on his current deal, which expires next summer but he wants €6 million on his next contract.
Some sources close to the paper have suggested that Milan have offered only just over €4 million and this does not satisfy the midfielder. Caution is now emerging at Casa Milan as the situation is now delicate.
They don’t want to cause too much controversy and a meeting could take place next week. Kessie has admirers in the Premier League, with one interested club being Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The midfielder though, is interested in seeing what Milan offer next as he’s in no hurry to leave.
